Annapolis Patch Includes TD Bank Tornado Grants in MDHCD Grants Coverage

December 27, 2021

Annapolis Patch included AAEDC’s awarding of grants of $5,000 to five Anne Arundel County businesses that were affected by the tropical storm and tornado that struck the region on Wednesday, September 1 in the following article:

Anne Arundel Tornado Victims Now Eligible For Grants From MD

While reporting on the announcement that the Maryland Department of Housing and Community Development has changed the disaster loans it was offering to victims of the tornado into grants, the article referenced the $5,000 microgrants as the first round of aid:

Tornado Aid

This is the latest round of relief for the twister victims.

The Anne Arundel Economic Development Corporation sponsored the last round of support. That organization in November awarded $5,000 grants to four Annapolis businesses and one church damaged in the tornado.
