The Baltimore Business Journal included the announcement by Interim CEO Jill Seamon that the organization was awarded a $250,000 grant from the Maryland Department of Housing and Community Development (DHCD) Community Legacy Program to implement a set of initiatives outlined in a recent comprehensive market analysis and planning study of the Glen Burnie Town Center (GBTC) in the October 27, 2002 edition of its “8 things you need to know today.”

“The Glen Burnie Town Center is poised for an upgrade. Earlier this week, the Anne Arundel Economic Development Corp. announced it has been awarded a $250,000 grant to implement three new initiatives at the center. They include new signage and wayfinding, improvements to the B&A trail trailhead and the installation of public art. Funding for the updates comes from the Maryland Department of Housing and Community Development Community Legacy Program.”
