Anne Arundel Economic Development Corporation recently announced the details on who should apply for, how to apply for, and when to apply for their third Inclusive Ventures Program (IVP) cohort.
Launched in the Spring of 2021, the Inclusive Ventures Program (IVP) provides business education, mentoring and seed capital to small, minority, women and veteran entrepreneurs whose businesses are based in Anne Arundel County. In its first year of operation, the IVP served 23 businesses. These businesses employed 88 people but plan on creating 50 new jobs after the program. In addition, this same group that reported total revenue of more than $2.5 million before entering the program, is projecting total revenue of more than $3.6 million after completing the program.
The next application period is 1/24/22 – 1/31/22, with a start date of 3/2/22.
