Based out of Tracys Landing, Maryland, The Coffee Table, LLC strives to provide specialty espresso drinks, coffee, teas, and hot chocolates to the residents and visitors of the Southern Maryland and Anne Arundel County communities. The Coffee Table wants to quench a thirst, satisfy a hunger and start a conversation in more than just a physical aspect–through genuine service to the community serving drinks, breakfast sandwiches and pastries on their mobile coffeehouse.
Beth Creager, owner/operator of The Coffee Table, LLC, has always had a dream of owning her own coffeehouse. A coffeehouse that is not just a building with four walls that sells coffee, but a place where people come to talk, hang out, and over time become more like family than customers. A place that supports local businesses and the community, and a place where people can come to celebrate their successes and find support in their times of need. As she began to pursue this dream, it seemed the best way to create the place she imagined was to begin with a mobile coffeehouse. This concept developed into The Coffee Table, LLC, a “coffeehouse on wheels.”
Beth Creager first came to the SBDC in March 2015 using the virtual advisor tools online to help develop her business plan. In April 2015, Beth began to meet with SBDC advisor Kathy MacAdams in Calvert County. Kathy worked with Beth to develop an official business plan. In February 2017, Beth began working with SBDC advisor Candace Pruett in Anne Arundel County to work through the cash flow projections. In April 2017, Beth purchased her mobile food truck to be customized to the specs for The Coffee Table. In July 2017, The Coffee Table is now attending their first local events.
The Coffee Table has hired 3 employees to run the mobile coffee shop.
