The program consists of eight convenient online learning sessions and an evening dedicated to final presentations and graduation. The classes. which are offered on Wednesdays from 6pm – 9pm, aim to introduce practical information necessary for running the day-to-day operations of a growing business on such topics such as pricing model, profit margins, monthly expenses and revenue, sales goals and more.
Each interactive learning session lets participants hear from and interact with peer entrepreneurs, the facilitator, who shares realistic information on business management as well as a panel of experienced subject matter experts with various perspectives and backgrounds.
The class will be led by Will Holmes, business consultant, Founder of WHC, Chairman of the Board for the Baltimore City Chamber of Commerce and recruiter for the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses program. Read Will’s bio here.
To graduate from the program and receive the $5,000 operational grant, participants must:
The final session of the virtual entrepreneurship cohort will include interactive presentations by each participant on his/her business growth plan. Certificates of Completion and information on the $5,000 operational grant will be distributed. Graduates will be able to continue accessing program mentors and will be invited to participate in alumni activities as they occur throughout the year.
