Annapolis, Maryland – (April 17, 2017) – During Anne Arundel Business Appreciation Week, ambassador groups will be taking part in more than 35 visits to businesses large and small around the county. Ambassador groups will be made up of representatives from Anne Arundel Economic Development Corporation, various county agencies and other professionals from the public and private sector. The visits, which will take place on Tuesday, May 2, Wednesday, May 3 and Thursday, May 4, will provide an opportunity for ambassadors to listen to concerns and suggestions from the business community. Most importantly, the visits will be a chance to thank local business owners and entrepreneurs for their investment in the county. Business owners interested in hosting an ambassador group visit should register by clicking here.
The week will begin with a Virtual Business Summit on Facebook Live on Monday, May 1. At the top of every hour from 9:00am to noon, AAEDC’s Facebook page will showcase a business topic and expert who will take questions and comments from followers. Also, during this time, followers who submit questions will be entered into a drawing for a gift card from a local business.
Anne Arundel Business Appreciation Week ends on May 5 with an Industry Forum. This year, AAEDC will focus on the county’s cybersecurity industry. The invitation-only breakfast will allow a small group of executives from more than a dozen technology companies to share ideas on how to grow this vital sector.
