My ArundelBiz Podcast: The Inclusive Ventures Program!

January 6, 2022

Now that the New Year is here and many folks are likely resolving to start or grow their business, we’re excited to publish a very special episode of the My #ArundelBiz podcast featuring BIG news for 2022: details on who should apply for, how to apply for, and when to apply for our third Inclusive Ventures Program (IVP) cohort!

We sat down with AAEDC Business Development Associate Keasha Haythe, CEcD, who led the development of and manages IVP, to discuss:

  • The origins of IVP, which aims to help small and minority-, women-, and Veteran-owned businesses in #AnneArundelCounty succeed and grow by providing their owners with the resources that early-stage entrepreneurs so often lack: business education and training, access to capital, and mentorship.
  • What types of businesses have participated in IVP since its January 2020 launch and what the 10 members of the first cohort and 11 members of the second cohort of IVP graduates gained from the experience.
  • The application and selection process for our third class of IVP participants, beginning with an application period of 1/24/22 at 9:00AM to 1/31/22 at 5:00PM and ending with the first virtual class on 3/2/22.
  • PLUS Keasha’s top five tips for starting a business!

So tune in to learn more about the Inclusive Ventures Program and why you, or someone you know, might want to be a part of it!
