Annapolis, Maryland – (November 18, 2016) – Anne Arundel Economic Development Corporation CEO Julie Mussog today announced the appointment of three new directors to the organization’s board. New board members include José Boluda of Northrop Grumman Mission Systems, Kevin Carter of Severn Savings Bank and Joel Rozner of the Rifkin Weiner Livingston, LLC, an Annapolis-based law firm.
“I greatly appreciate that these local leaders can commit their valuable time and talent to help guide the AAEDC team,” said Ms. Mussog. “Each one brings a wealth of knowledge in areas as finance, legislative and legal affairs and business operations and such expertise will be a tremendous benefit to our county’s economic development efforts.”
Mr. Boluda, an Air Force veteran, has a decade of experience at Northrop Grumman. He currently serves as Director of Legislative Affairs, a role in which he is responsible for educating government officials on the capabilities of the systems that the company designs and manufactures.
Mr. Carter serves a dual role as Vice President of Product Development and Community Reinvestment Act Officer for Severn Savings Bank, positions he has held since 2008. Mr. Carter is responsible for the development of commercial products and services to support the bank’s Commercial Lending Division. As CRA Officer, he directs corporation contributions within the community that the bank serves.
Mr. Rozner is a partner with the Rifkin firm, and chair of the Legislative and Government Relations Group. In his 25 year history with the firm, he has lobbied for clients with emphasis on business, trade associations, real estate, energy and environmental issues.
The new members of the board will serve a two year term set to expire in 2018.
