Jonathan Boniface

Jonathan Boniface serves as Director of Research & Program Development at the Anne Arundel Economic Development Corporation (AAEDC). He joined the organization in May 2019 as Research Manager and was promoted in 2023, expanding his leadership responsibilities to include program development, performance management, grant administration, and research and data analysis.

A graduate of Frostburg State University, Jonathan began his career in the financial services industry before stepping away to raise his two daughters. During that time, he remained deeply engaged in the community, serving on the Board of Directors for the Greater Crofton Chamber of Commerce, launching a photography business, participating in the Leadership Anne Arundel Flagship Class of 2017, and successfully organizing and leading the community campaign to establish Crofton’s high school. His advocacy for Anne Arundel County continues to shape both his professional and civic work.

At AAEDC, Jonathan leverages his passion for data and analytics to inform decision-making and support economic development efforts across the county. He leads the development of quarterly economic indicators, tracks new and expanding businesses, and produces custom reports on demographics, employment, and migration, helping ensure AAEDC and its partners stay informed and responsive.
