Victoria Zelefsky


Vice President of Marketing & Communications

Victoria Zelefsky serves as Vice President of Marketing & Communications for the Anne Arundel Economic Development Corporation (AAEDC), where she leads the organization’s internal and external communications, brand strategy, marketing initiatives, public and government relations, and major events that support business growth and community revitalization across Anne Arundel County.

Victoria has extensive experience in strategic communications, brand leadership, and marketing across the public and private sectors. She is a member and featured writer for the Forbes Communications Council, contributing thought leadership to a global network of communications executives. Previously, she served as Director of Brand and Communications at The Menkiti Group, where she led high-profile events with elected officials and played a key role on RFP response teams that helped secure major development projects. As Marketing Manager for Bon Appétit Management Company, she oversaw marketing for Johns Hopkins University and surrounding campuses, including producing a chef’s dinner at the James Beard House in New York City. She also previously contributed travel and lifestyle content to Hotels.com and continues to serve as Creative Director for Kurv Agency, a national digital marketing firm.

Her work has earned numerous professional honors, including recognition as a Top Women Leader in Maryland by Women We Admire, Influential Businesswoman of the Year by Acquisition International, and an Inman Innovator finalist for a campaign she led. Victoria is actively engaged in regional industry leadership, serving on the Business Development Committee for the Maryland Economic Development Association (MEDA), the Communications Committee for the Maryland Tourism Coalition, and the Branding Steering Committee for the Greater Baltimore Committee (GBC). She previously served on the Impartiality Board for MenuTrinfo.

A classically trained opera singer, Victoria holds a master’s degree from the Peabody Institute of Johns Hopkins University and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Northern Colorado. Since 2014, she has regularly performed the national anthem for the Baltimore Orioles. She lives in Arnold, Maryland, with her husband and two young sons.
